RUSSIA-AFRICA: COOPERATION POTENTIAL
On October 23-24, the first Summit and Economic Forum “Russia - Africa” was held in Sochi under the motto “For Peace, Security and Development”.
At the forum exhibition, as part of 14 high-tech Russian companies, Kalancha OOO presented its unique prosuction – the BiZone gas-powder fire extinguishing technology, which undoubtedly can strengthen the fire safety of African countries.
Official representatives of all 54 African countries, 45 of which were represented by heads of state and government, worked at the Summit and the Russia-Africa Economic Forum.
The Economic Forum opened with a plenary meeting on the theme: “Russia - Africa: Unlocking the Potential of Cooperation”. The Forum was co-chaired by the Russia-Africa Summit. President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
Today, the development and consolidation of mutually beneficial ties with African countries and their integration associations are among Russia's foreign policy priorities.
